TRADQ Beauty — Mobile App & Online Store

How TRADQ collects, uses, and protects your information.

TRADQ Beauty (“TRADQ,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our mobile app and website, how we use and share it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. By using the Platform, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account and identity: name, email address, phone number, and password.

  • Business profile (optional): company name, tax ID, credit terms, and assigned sales representative, where you choose to register as a trade customer.

  • Orders and delivery: shipping and billing addresses, purchase-order numbers, order notes, and order history.

  • Communications: product reviews, return requests, and messages you send to support.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and usage data: device model, operating system, app version, language setting, and in-app activity such as products viewed and recently viewed items.

  • Diagnostics: crash reports and performance data collected through our error-monitoring provider (Sentry).

  • Push tokens: a notification token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) if you enable push notifications.

Payment information

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers; Stripe handles card data under the PCI-DSS security standard. We receive limited details such as payment status and the last four digits of your card.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account and process your orders.

  • To fulfil and deliver orders and to handle returns and refunds.

  • To send one-time passcodes (OTPs) and account or security messages by SMS (via Twilio).

  • To send order updates and, where you have not opted out, promotional notifications.

  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests.

  • To operate, secure, improve, and troubleshoot the Platform, and to detect and prevent fraud and abuse.

  • To comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed with:

  • Service providers that operate the Platform on our behalf, including Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS/OTP), Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications), Sentry (diagnostics), Amazon Web Services (hosting and media), and our shipping and logistics partners.

  • Professional advisers, auditors, or government authorities where required by law or to establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights.

  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We do not share mobile information, SMS opt-in data, or text-messaging consent with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. See Section 4 for details.

4. Mobile Information & SMS Messaging

TRADQ uses SMS text messaging to deliver one-time passcodes (OTPs), login and identity verification, password-reset codes, and account-security notifications through our messaging provider, Twilio. We use the mobile phone number you provide solely to authenticate you, secure your account, and deliver these transactional messages. We do not use this number to send marketing or promotional text messages.

No sharing of mobile information for marketing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data, SMS consent records, and phone numbers collected for text messaging will not be sold, rented, shared, or otherwise disclosed to third parties for their marketing purposes. We disclose phone numbers only to the service providers that help us deliver the messaging service (such as Twilio), and only to the extent necessary to operate that service. All other use-case categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information is not shared with any third party.

Your choices. Message frequency varies based on your account activity, and message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, and reply HELP for assistance. Full SMS program terms are described in our Terms & Conditions.

5. Cookies & Similar Technologies

Our website and app may use cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.

6. Data Location & Transfers

We are based in the United States and process data there. If you access the Platform from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your location.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, and afterward for the period required to meet our legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations — typically up to 7 years for transaction records — after which it is deleted or anonymized.

8. Your Rights & Choices

  • Access and update: you can view and edit your account information, including addresses and business details, in the app.

  • Account deletion: you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data in the app or by emailing us; some records may be retained where required by law.

  • Marketing and notifications: you can opt out of push notifications in your device settings and unsubscribe from promotional messages; you may still receive essential service messages such as order confirmations and security alerts.

  • SMS messages: you can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP; note that opting out of authentication messages may prevent you from logging in or completing verification.

  • Regional rights: depending on where you live (for example, under the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. 9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and secure storage of credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to address incidents promptly.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Platform is intended for users who are 18 or older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted in the app and on our website with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
